What to Expect:
Each of our 10 Term 1 Lessons On-Demand provide 30 minutes of active engagement for both you and your baby to enjoy, learn from and share. Each week, you’ll engage in activities specifically designed to support your baby’s growth in areas such as language acquisition, speech development, auditory processing, motor skills, focusing and steady beat. You will learn the very best way to make the most of these interactions with your baby.
In Term 1:
Your baby will start to discover new sounds, instruments and movement activities in a playful structure. As your shared experience together is so important, we aim to encourage the fun, pleasure and relaxation possibilities of music making with very yng children.
The lessons include peekaboo and parachute activities, simple movement activities, dances and opportunities to play age-appropriate percussion instruments.
Your Teacher - Jennifer Smith
Jennifer Smith is co-owner of the Mini Maestros master franchise and is responsible for the ongoing development of the Mini Maestros music program. Jennifer is an experienced music educator, pianist and choral conductor. A qualified musician, she has had extensive experience teaching in the public and private school systems, as well as in rural and international schools. She has developed and implemented classroom music programs based on the Kodaly and Orff approaches, and taught piano to students of all ages. Over the years Jennifer has shared her love of music with thousands of students and inspired them to make music a part of their daily lives. Jennifer believes music positively impacts all areas of children's development. She is always delighted seeing how people of all ages can experience so much joy when they are actively engaged in musical experiences with others.
